"Mirror Athlete With Pain - Manuscript Story Board" Author, Marc T. Woodard Marc's chronic pain began after a head on collision involving a drunk driver, while on active duty in the Air Force at the ripe old age of 25. During the next 25 years to follow, he continued to achieve “all” of his goals with Beth's (wife) support while effectively learning to manage his chronic pain. He did not disclose “all” injuries and pain during various events in his service career with the military, or civilian doctors’ as this would had disqualified him during his enlistment "at first" within the Air Force Reserves and then commissioning phase during his Army Officers military academy training. Instead Marc would learn to manage pain to progress through each career move he sought regardless of mind, body soul challenge. His ultimate goal in the Army was to become commissioned, “nothing would stop him,” not even chronic pain." Also during a great portion of those years he was successful in the corporate world, ran a private health and fitness consulting business, to include manufacturing a supplement product line that was on the market for many years.
