Our health science department refers to these works as "MirrorAthleteScience," due to content originality and brilliance has been refereed to as a "Master Piece" within the literary world. During the course of his life success Marc sustained many internal injuries due to ~22 years of service in two branches of service (Air Force and Army, while simultaneously managing many civilian careers. He managed to do this for ~25 years and continues to do so after retirement.
Marc incorporates his unique life experiences, education, pain management philosophy and puts words to practises illustrating results. By personally testing pain management techniques on himself, through personal experiences he shares insight & results within publishing's.
STORY BOARD His chronic pain began after a head on collision involving a drunk driver, while on active duty in the Air Force at the ripe old age of 25. During the next 25 years to follow, he continued to achieve “all” of his goals with Beth's (wife) support while managing chronic pain. He did not disclose “all” injuries and pain during various events during his service career with the military, or civilian doctors’ as this would had disqualified him during his enlistment within the Air Force Reserves and pre-commissioning phase during his Army Officers military academy training. Marc's ultimate goal in the service was to become commissioned, “nothing would stop him,” not even chronic pain." Also during a great portion of those years he was successful in the corporate world, ran a private health and fitness consulting business, to include manufacturing a supplement product line that was on the market for many years.
Marc has always served, in some capacity as a health & fitness consultant through the years to many individuals and has many customer testimonials including success stories from those who benefited from his advice. He did very well at what ever the challenges were in life, while internal injuries continued to plague him through military and civilian activity aggravations. He shares his unique individual approach experiences, 1:1 health and fitness consulting methods, and applies these principles to real life scenarios on how “he managed to succeed...managing chronic pain and continued being successful & returning positive results for so many years.
He has a unique approach to pain management & life experiences [known as "MirrorAthleteScience," which incorporates “Mind, Body and Soul” including his famous pain threshold management "twisted oxymoron" philosophy quote, “Don’t Stop Until Your Mind Tells You to Stop.” Marc didn't understand until 20+ years later after coining this statement, how profound this God given perspective would drive him to achieve every goal he set. Success came regardless of overwhelming odds of "impinging failure, depression & dome, greatly threatened by chronic pain."
It is the goal of the author to share unique pain management techniques, behavioral teaching points and inspirations [“methods that worked for the author and other unique stories”], encouragement and hope for those that suffer with chronic pain daily. By sharing, “managing chronic pain stories” those that apply the teaching points will find inspiration and hope living in broken bodies [and not] and have dreams to improve their quality of life regardless of age disability, or for that matter "all walks of life." "With Gods good grace I will maintain a strong mind, body and soul to contribute to this calling for many years to come.
